Here is the church, where is the spire?

A church without it's spire (okay, I had to Google that to know what it was called) looks so odd to me. This is Knox Presbyterian Church. I love the gothic effect I was able to give this photo just by bumping up the backlighting when processing it. Spoooooky.

The door to St. Patrick Basilica, Ottawa. The design for this church was started in 1866 by the same architect who designed the East and West blocks of Parliament.

Window to the Past

If windows could talk this window on an old horse barn would have some great stories. It sits on the grounds of St. John's Anglican Church and dates back to the days when the church was in the middle of the country and people would ride their horses to Sunday services.

St. John's
