How Much For My Puppy?
Just kidding.. Jan wasn't trying to sell this famous puppy. He's far to valuable on the local newspaper circuit.

Positive Affirmation
What hair mannequins think when they look in the mirror:
"I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me."
"I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me."
Wind fun
Thar she was.. the wind bloowin' at arrr backs.. Blowin' men overboard.. she was hungry that day, the wind.. if she evar were hungry, she was..

$3.19
No inspiration today, so I plunked the overpriced loaf of bread on the counter and took a picture with my phone. Yes, I just paid $3.19 for a loaf of bread (which is highway robbery if you ask me) and it has made me cranky. However it does have 13 essential nutrients in it and anyone who knows me knows I'm all about the nutrients! If I think of it that way then it is just over 24 cents a nutrient... sounds like a bargain now!

April Blizzard
This is one of my new favourite photos.... Sheldon not too happy about not being allowed into the DQ for a Rolo Blizzard. (I have to get out the Photoshop book and see if I can get the glare off of Zan's face though.)

Sheep
This is my favourite sheep so far. She was the runt of the litter, that is likely why. Reminds me of the Big Red Dog.
Yappy Easter
I had planned a funny little photo with chocolate bunnies for today that was going to have witty captions but the bunnies didn't last that long! Maybe next year.

There she was just a walkin' down the street....
Well it wasn't the street, it was the woods. We haven't seen each other in well over 10 years I'd say so to bump into her in the woods at Mud Lake was just a bit freaky.
Terri the Turkey
Isn't Terri the Turkey cute? She had about 3-4 roosters after her. Busy cleaning herself in the dust here.

Henry Shows Himself
I am loving going to/from work and seeing Henry the duck and his friend Mavis all the time. What a highlight to my day. Across the street is a little stream and these two like to feed there. They were a little skiddish and left fairly quickly. I must be better with the focus when it matters.
Welcome to the collection, Henry.
Olympic Diving Hopeful?
Despite Henry's repeated warnings, Mavis the duck continues with her plans for a spot on the Olympic dive team, (giving up diving was her biggest regret).
Apparently "Swimming" was a success.

"That was easy"
The underside of the Jumbotron at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Looks like a hocky puck meets the Staples Easy Button.
Wrong Part of Town
So Mavis the duck insisted on "swimming" in the wrong part of town. Of course Henry stayed close to provide security. Watch out for taggers..

Did someone say Starbucks?
Okay Corner Store Delivery guy... if you want me to put your children through college and fund your dream home in Turks & Caicos you should consider opening a subsidiary service which will deliver extra hot hot chocolates from that big Seattle chain. thatbigseattlechaindelivery.com perhaps?
The "Standard"
The standard to which all other drinks are measured upon (a template, if you will). Grande Peppermint Javachip Frappuccino blended coffee. Thanks to the Eagle, for introducing me. #nicknamesAreFun

"Swimming". Stay Close, Just in Case..
"Swimming" near the steps as usual, Mavis the duck doesn't want to venture to far from the edge. I understand, "swimming" is fun. (You have to say it properly though)

Fancy Chips
This place can make a decent hotdog. #justsayin
..and it's English, after all. I wonder if they serve the chips in newspaper?
Yee Old Barn
I liked the look of this old barn. I bet that wood would be worth a fortune, if you could chuck wood.
You otter know....
I thought he was a beaver...but when he swam away I realized it was an otter. At least I think it was. What do I know... I'm a city girl.
Love is Spelled "Groadie"
Love the kid, but he has fungus, at it's Groadie (with a capital G). I keep after him to wash and put cream and powder on his feet, yet alas, he gets bumps like this :(

Stained Glass
I'm not a fan of Darcy McGee's pubs but I will say I like the decor at the Orleans location. Beautiful photos of Ireland on the walls and some really nice stained glass pieces like this one.

Follow the Leader..
Here is yesterday's shot.. I will have to take out the good camera and find these two for some full frontal shots.

Here is the church, where is the spire?
A church without it's spire (okay, I had to Google that to know what it was called) looks so odd to me. This is Knox Presbyterian Church. I love the gothic effect I was able to give this photo just by bumping up the backlighting when processing it. Spoooooky.

Forrest Fun
I really liked this scene when I came upon it in the dog park. The puddle kinda ruins it for me though. Will have to go back.
Hidden Gem
Across the street, tucked in behind the giant pine tree on their front lawn is a beautiful vintage purple VW Beetle. Why are they hiding it?

Soupy Sales
Mavis cooks with Campbell's soup a lot. She gets excited when it goes on sale so she stocks up. 12 cans this shopping trip (only the 3 that wouldn't fit in the cupboard and the one used in the potatoes are shown). #gomavis
